....WHY? Why place newer players on different servers? Especially since you think they're won't be a wave of players coming in, why make it that much worse to place them in a different server if it wont be populated as much? Expansion trailers are not only for existing players, but also to attract newer ones, giving them something to look forward to (normally), but with games like XIV which is heavily story based, it'd keep those new players from reaching that expansion they were appealed to, and that's after the other trailers didn't quite catch their attention. If your not interested in something, why would you want to do it?

Also I have no idea what you mean Job's being open. Like no roles or something? I doubt they'd change that. They built so hard on it, and frankly I don't think they have the Baal's to do it. (no offense..... all the offense >:3 )

Im a new player and i even created alts I have no issue with doing msq cause im not lookin to finish it in a months time. The only prob I had was not being able to play drk, which I agree with most people on here that say dont lock the jobs, or some dugeons. But to skip the whole story makes no sense , like who is really gona play a game for years to just do a few dungeons a month. What is exactly wrong with letting players that want to play the game a certain way play with others that think like them

1: Playing 2 dungeons a month (mostly 3-4 months). We're already doing that if you've been playing for a while.
2: Nothing. There is absouluetly nothing wrong with that, but separating people because they decide to play at a certain point in the game is absurd. Its like if I had buddies who played Pokemon White and Black and moved over to Sun and Moon. Now we have newer players that never played White and Black but have Sun and Moon and now for some reason they can't play with their friends because they never played White and Black. See how stupid that sounds???

Fighting games, and especially street fighter do this all the time. Don't have the latest version? You ain't playing with your friends. Perhaps surprisingly, these are all incredibly popular for the same reason.

Thats not what I meant. Your making it sound like I wanted White and Black players to be able to play with Sun and Moon players, THATS NOT IT. Its if one player in particular NEVER played White and Black, and now that he bought Sun and Moon he can't play with other Sun and Moon players. Get it now???

not really tho because wit a jump potion their friends could do the same as well and play with them at the same level they are own , i saw threads about a possible pvp server so why not a jump potion server

Then go ask for that somewhere. No one asked for a jump server potion, especially since you'll most likely have to buy it off the mogstation in which we have a system for that. You clearly have no good reason as to why players shouldn't be able to skip old content to enjoy the newer content they intend to play after their purchase, and your not open for the option to do so, so I'm done talking about this with you.
