There are 168 hours in a week. Maintenance cuts that time off by no more than 3 hours, except before major patches. That is 165 hours in which to do whatever weekly caps you may need. If you didn't do it up until then, the only cause would be that you have other stuff going on in life. And that's life. Shifting maintenance to be after a reset would not help anyone in this regard.
But y'know what would be a pain to a lot of people? If the very evening after a reset, when they're having fun getting fresh rewards for the week, they're suddenly kicked off for maintenance. Which does happen in emergencies, and is a major bother to a lot of people. Not just some silent faction you claim to be speaking up for.
Why are you so hostile? Why are you taking this so personally? And boohoo if someone can't get a clear on reset night, they have 6 days ahead of them, see that works in reverse too.

Also everyone in here that is griping seems to forget THERE IS MORE TO CAPPING THAN TOMESTONES,

Alex Normal and Savage are also something to be discussed and take up a lot of time and add in rng.

Someone will always get hurt, no matter when you put the maintenance.

There are no but's and if's. Even is you went with the situation of "put maintenance a few days before reset."
That one specific day and moment, might be the only moment for someone to play. The world is a large place with more than millions of people habiting it. There will always be that 1%/0.1%/0.01%.... that will not benefit from it.
Of course someone always suffers, you know who suffers most for every maintenance is PST users, but that's another issue. To me it appears as a cost benefit analysis the ones who suffer most with maintenance are PST users on reset nights hence this suggestion which people get pretty rabid about for reasons that are completely beyond me.
