Fynlar, Raid Finder is separate from duty finder because it has 4 different settings, practice first phase, practice last phase, aiming to clear and clear required, the queue for the first two can be quite slow,

So basically a useless system unless you have a premade, just like how things were on the Duty Finder for new extreme/savage content by forcing you to have a premade (which is another thing I don't agree with)

So again, I fail to see the difference.

Raid finder is good stuff for the most part. I've been able to farm Sophia no problems takes forever to get a pf on goblin and then for it to actually keep going with no rage quits is a miracle.

I think the best time to join is 6 or 7 Est. Usually a lot of people joining. Specially for A9s clear and weekly.

I haven't seen many A10s pops yet

Come on people it works. If people on PF are not letting the "no bonus" in or help join raid finder. You can save a lot of time by joining rather than just sitting on PF for hours waiting for a Savage run to fill in. And then pull 3 times and people start leaving cause there is not lock out. Raid finder kinda gives you a push to carry on and help others.

You like ignored everything I said, you don't need a premade, queues for practice work, slower but work, queues for farming work and they are fast depending on the time of the day, I have 8 weapons all from raid finder, my friend has 12 (just missing 1 to have them all) and we have dozens of clears, it's not remotely the same as DF just because it locks out people who haven't cleared from farm parties, that alone boosts the success chance very high. I don't know how you can be so critical of something you haven't tried.

I'm not ignoring you. I'm saying that was not my experience.

And I've already said that if my experience with old extreme trials is any indication, there being no newbie bonus is no indication that your group will succeed. If that is the case with hella old (but still extreme-level) content that the party mostly has way outleveled by now, why should I think it's going to be any different with actual "current" extreme content that we can't outlevel all that much?

I don't know how you can be so critical of something you haven't tried.

I think I'm allowed to be critical when the system is built such that it's contributing toward me not even getting the chance to try.

I just tried raid finder for the first time. Me and my partner queued for Sophia extreme clear with only people who had cleared before. We did 10 runs, 8 of which were one-shots (the last two had one wipe each). We also had one run in which the party wiped once in last phase and some people left (I still don't understand why, the party would have beaten it for sure on second try). So this is my personal experience and it's nothing like you're afraid of.

Believe it or not you not the only one who thought that. Many people don't even know that Raid Finder exists.
