Considering how popular PvP is in this game...
I dunno. I think that speaks for itself. Best I could see is a semi-PvP-ish siege map where you are using vehicles and ballista more than actually PvPing with our characters.

If you are suggesting the interest is overall low for PvP, I have a few ideas why:
1. lack of crafted PvP gear
2. Lack of armory space
3. lack inventory space in general.
As a crafter main, I just can't carry PvP gear. Too much space is used for gearing crafting jobs in armory, and in normal inventory, too much items in supplies. So I do not go flow blown PvP. I have 1 PvP weapon for black mage and that is all I can afford space wise. In Wow there was problems of raid gear being so much higher gear level then PvP gear, it blew PvP mains out of the water.
I would welcome word PvP in some areas but the following needs to be addressed:
1. Top raid gear vs top PvP gear
2. inventory/Amory space (the fan fest talked about increasing inventory, but what about ARMORY? to fit new gathering materials, no gear, so on, you need to literally double all our current slots, to properly have room for everything. I am at 8 retainers, put the event glamor in the armory chest (not the gear armory I been talking about) and I still hurt for room, and it is still hard to actually do cooking, even with 8 retainers. I did not even want crafting and battle on the same character due to inventory issues, but SE content blocked my crafter and I am stuck hurting for inventory slots, leaving no room for PvP gear.
3. Job balance, how do less defensive jobs defend themselves? would black mages be easy kills? will a tank/dps vs a healer be a never ending battle?
4. Gathering, how would gathering +PvP be addressed?

How about no? this kind of "PvP" should never exist in any MMO ever.
