Don't get me wrong, I thought the trailer was cool. Just, it did nothing to get me excited. Hope more info comes soon, so I can hop on the hype train.

I'm in the same boat, it looked amazing! But if it weren't for the chocobo, I wouldn't have said oh hey FF expac xD it is just a teaser though, so I'm looking forward with ya.

but you got to admit that new Monk Job theme gear set looks great. It has a feeling when you look at it that the Warrior of Light based it on his original Warrior Armor then adjusted it to be more suitable for the quick reflexes combat of a Monk.

I am still curious what the other Job theme gear set will be in 4.0 since the trailer only shows the Monk Gear set due to Ala Mhigo being the homeland of the Monks.

Sorry to be a downer, but I think the lady in the teaser trailer was just a female WoL. Gotta be fair, y'know? :P

Already confirmed that we will find out more about her in the patche(s) leading up to 4.0, actually, so we know she's her own character and not just a female version of the WoL for the trailer.

Eh, I don't want to sound like a complete downer, but non of the information nor the trailer (at least that I've heard so far) has me hyped in the slightest, this could have been 2 people fighting anywhere, in any setting if it wasn't for the title and the mark of the twelve on the statue's forehead.

To be honest, my hype was 30% just the assumption that SE'd try to actually make interesting characters out of each of the figures on the new logo.
