    So Tataru has a knack for weaving huh?

    Okay we know that Tataru has some talent for weaving (probably more than the player given that she also design the cloths in question) and we also know that she commissioned a set of mammots based on the Scions, herself and the Carbuncles.

    But the latter group has a peculiar detail. According to the minion guide she created the shell of the carby minions. This detail has me wondering if Tataru Taru knew of her prowess with the needle, since she didn't make any outfits before Heavensward (that we know of)

    Well she did try a lot of different things to help the scions (which is one of the points why I like her) so maybe she also tried this one and found out that it was finally something she could do without putting herself in danger. I am still not sure how exactly she got her hands on the mats for Y'shtolas staff but I do like that she is doing those things next to her job.

    There is only one negative point to this....where are my clothes Tataru? *sob* Am I not your friend too and part of the scions? Would be nice to get a present from her too, it does make me feel a little left out.

    Not sure if she is truly better than us since we also can craft quite the nice things.

    A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

    Wasn't the staff a commission? So she'd just need to have the coin to pay merchants to deliver the necessary materials to the Conjurers Guild, who I believe are the ones who actually made it.

    The question is, how she got the materials. Since even the druid leader mentioned how expensive that must have been.

    I really hope that Tataru will stay as one of our allies..We have enough bad lalas, dont really need another one. (And she is also one of my last living favorite characters in the game, so I dont want her to go traitor or something like that)

    She can have a complicated history with the Syndicate, possibly even have betrayed us in the past, and still remain a staunch ally. Thancred got most of the original Scions killed and nobody's giving him grief over it.

    Far more likely that she has nice affluent Ul'dahan connections though.

    He was possessed at the time, so everyone knows it wasn't his fault.
