Savage loot?

I didn't roll on A9s because it was healer items and I was tank.
So can I still play A9s for the week and roll on an item? Or am I prevented from even rolling now despite not rolling?

And how are people on less populated servers supposed to find groups for these?
I can clear the A12s dummy on PLD but just can't find a group for it.

You COULD roll, however, since you've cleared for the week, there will only be one treasure coffer at the end. This is assuming you are the only cleared person, or there's only 1 other.

I believe with 3 or more cleared people, no chests drop. Might be 4.

Either way, you'd be hard pressed to find a group willing to take you for the week and sacrifice one of their coffers.

Because every MMO has content designed for organized groups.

Alexander also drops the best gear in the game, so you need some luck to get a piece of loot directly.
You also get a manifesto from the first kill of the week, which can be turned in for a piece of gear once you're obtained enough of them (Example, 4 A9S manifesto tokens can be turned in for an accessory, 6 can be turned in for a belt)

On Vindictus it was not like this. But it wasn't a tab-target game, so some very skilled players could solo the 8-man raids (50min battles some of them) and people didn't mind just searching them.

Do you get a lot of Party Finder groups up on Balmung for Savage? I'm thinking of transferring somewhere.

I thought that even if you passed/left each week you were no longer eligible for an item. Once you get a page and leave, you can't roll for the week.

It would be nice if it was like this. Actually farming savage each week, instead of getting our 2 chests and a page, then moving on.

You are correct. Once you clear the boss and you see the drops those are the only drops you'll see until the reset. If you clear again you won't see or be able to roll on the loot that drops.

This is a separate restriction from the total amount of loot that drops based on the number of people in the group that cleared.

Honestly? Make your own. Use the party finder, these forums, reddit, your friends list, your FC and your FC member's friends lists to find potential recruits. Being on a smaller server for better or for worse, demands a bit initiative.

It helps if you're willing to invest in people. Find people who want to raid but maybe aren't quite ready. Take them through Sophia Ex to get them their weapons, go with them on the Alex normal runs to reduce the number of people they have to roll against. Be patient and learn to enjoy wiping for just a bit of advancement.
