Oh thank goodness, i was starting to think i was the only one with this problem. its not a huge issue but i do prefer to play with the names turned off for that more authentic feel.

as a side note it would be nice to be able to display the icons and hp bars and such over peoples heads without having to have names turned on. for some reason i find the names just really clutter up my screen.

Oh thank goodness, i was starting to think i was the only one with this problem.

I had the exact same reaction. I thought that maybe it was something with my monitor.

I ended up raising the brightness on my screen, which compensates somewhat. But I got to the point where I hated running leves at (in-game) night, especially in Nophica's Wells, because I couldn't see to run where the paths in those mesas were and kept running into walls.
