Now that you mention it I may have seen some like that in the MW.

Sounds like a good idea but I still think that the most important is the type of materia attached, not the strength, unless with time everyone converges to the same materia on a said type of gear.

Very true, but if the gear with materia is marked in a way people can find it, they can look at a few pieces instead of looking at every one.

If there are 20 swords up, and only 3 are showing a price with 40 at the end, people can look at those three swords with the grade 4 materia in it, instead of checking all 20 swords.
