It's useless, they said. There are no rewards, they said.
I'm so proud of my little recruits.

They are far from being optimized regarding Chemistry. They aren't even level 50 yet. What I just got basically comes from the default Chemistry they acquired when leveling up.
So, if they can get me a few hundred thousand gils per day or every other day without me having to do anything, I won't spit on that. Especially not when the feature is two weeks old.
Congrats on your loot, it looks like you are quite pleased with it
For me, I don't craft or gather and the gil obtained would be negligible (I only use gil for repairs and food, and I have enough to last me for quite some time. I gain gil faster than I spend it via retainers).
All of that said, I think the complaints of lack of rewards are fairly small - no? My issue, at least, is that the content is akin to Garrison Missions in WoW which is akin to a Mobile Phone / Facebook game. We're playing MMORPG's, not mobile phones. We're paying $15 a month for quality content, not the equivalent of free time-wasters. I have a difficult time fathoming how anyone who logs in to FFXIV could want to spend any of their time on this content. While I dislike things like crafting, gathering and PvP in FFXIV, I at least understand the appeal. For this content, I'm fairly dumbfounded.
It's ok, just doing it for the eventual crafting-and-gathering-mats-tied to-the-new-GC-rank business.
C'mon, you know they'll do that.
