May we please get Equipment Locks

I'm not sure what the Dev Tag this would go under so if anyone knows, please let me know ^^

I am wondering if it would be possible to put an Equipment Lock option so we don't accidentally turn our main gears into materia. It would also help for anyone who lags enough that they don't accidentally throw out equipment instead of something else because their selection box scrolled too far.

I haven't had these issues but I know some people have. I know people should pay closer attention to what they're doing but sometimes something in real life or even in game can distract us just enough to end up screwing up.

It would be a nice feature, but please don't' add any more mini icons to the inventory list, it already looks like a complete mess.

Now that actions are saved, you have more ALT/CTRL macro slots to have gear changes!

you have to go into a menu and click materia then confirm it. It's not like a block would stop anyone from drunkenly converting their gear into materia because they would just go into the lock menu unlock it and THEN convert it. unless you mean a way to click off the spirit bond icon altogether.

I will say there is something disconcerting when i see my +1 stuff I have no plans of converting, with that spirit bond icon next to it. Is it going to always look like that? :: sad face ::

Yes, I thought of that as well. I would like to either lock equipment altogether or have a way to stop it from spiritbonding because I have no plans to turn my new gear or even my tricorne into materia at this moment but it sits there with a spiritbond icon. Also all the Unique/Untradable gears sitting at full spiritbond yet they cannot be converted.

If you guys have any other ideas that you think would help keep our inventory safe from accidental clicks, please feel free to post them. I am sure this isn't an issue for the majority of the players but I have known a few to have these issues and I'm sure you guys on your servers have as well.

You can't turn gear into materia that you're wearing, and you have to select the specific item you want to turn into materia and then confirm it. We don't need to confirm the confirmation. That was one of the many things wrong with this game initially, way too many button clicks to accomplish anything. If they could implement some sort of equipment lock without bogging the rest of the menus down with extra "confirm your confirmation" buttons, then I'm for it. If not, I'd have to respectfully disagree with this being implemented.
