What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

So I went into PoTD with the bf and did 1-10 a few times to see how it went. We came out with 1 bronze bag for each 1-10 run. Not managed to find one without using a pomander yet and we're usually getting a pomander of intuition on floor 5 and floor 8-9, which has failed to give us one every time so far, hence why we've only been getting one hoard. I've seen a thread on Reddit mention locations to check based on the map, but to be honest I was struggling to get my head around it. We're using affluence prior to going up a floor where possible too.

Does anyone have any tips for finding hoards without pomanders please? Thanks!

I got my first hoard accidently by standing for few seconds when fighting adds. So yeah, try to stand at some middle area for few seconds.

Tried that already I'm afraid. Middle and at four corners to boot, waited 5 seconds+ to be safe too. D: Thanks though!

Friend of mine got 2 of them 6 runs apart... and he wasn't even at 50 runs (of floors 1-10) for his first one. I envy his luck!

It seems to me that some of them are at the exact place were normally traps would be. Even had one that had still a trap underneath them. Not really sure if this information is that helpful and if you dont have a pomander you cant see them either. But maybe if you run into a trap stand in that place a little longer.

I only found on chest without it and it was purely luck.

The hairpin is really small...I think you are making it a bigger deal than it is....

Some head slot gear likely covers it so you could do that.
