I normally don't participate in the events, but even in FFXI Haloween was ALWAYS a favorite of mine

Definitely love the poster. I'm also glad to see the rate of which we're receiving events. In FFXI you had the summer-fest, Halloween, Christmas, and valentines-day events (those were the big ones.), but from what I can tell we're getting events back-to-back.

Not to be abrasive, but -

There is an entire department (of maybe a few people, tops) of the game dedicated to designing events. This is their job. It's what they do. They do it regardless of what the rest of the teams are doing. Moving them to other teams would probably take up more time than it would save. For the love of the Twelve, just enjoy it.

If I may offer an alternative:

Perhaps the event team is perfectly justified in continuing to plan events and should spend their time sprucing up the "Ring-a-Bell" events from last year (which, even though they were hastily thrown together, were great of them to even give us at all with the bad reviews, hectic team shifts, and overall bad tone. Thank you again for putting in the effort to at least have the holidays at a time when there were bigger anxieties to dwell on.)

I'm not going to ask you to like this post, but ... I mean, come on. I trust you guys.
... (Sort of. It's not like I said, like, immersion or barcher or anything.)
