As a WHM, I like Piety on my weapon.
Funny thing is we have asked for better stat allocation for years, along with other QoL adjustments that have taken 2+ years to roll out.wow I mean just wow, people on those forums never cease to amaze me. 90% of posts on those forums are people demanding something, I must be old but when I was a child, you asked for something you wanted and were polite about it. Nowadays most, not all, but most children, teens and young adults demand everything to be how they want it no matter what. Just wow I really fear for the world sometimes. Thank god my kids aren't like that.

Raids have (marginally) good rewards? WOW SE WOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAKING GEAR THAT'S HARDER TO GET BETTER THAN GEAR THAT'S EASY TO GET (FOR SOME SLOTS ONLY)?????
Also unless you raid none of those stats matter in the slightest (and only barely then).
Stat allocation is not a quality of life adjustment. A quality of life adjustment would be not having to buy/craft arrows before a raid, having cooldowns reset after a wipe, or removing the need to manually synth smaller ingredients for a piece of gear. In other words, something that removes pointless tedium. What you're asking for is a buff to weaker gear pieces. That allows you to skip content but still get the rewards you want.

Parry is useless. Yoshi admitted it was a bad stat...but they loaded(and I mean LOADED) tank gear with it. I would rather have an actual helpful stat. And if you've ever played PLD, you'd know TP is very limited, I have hit 0 on almost every floor of Alex(most recently A9...every run) & it isn't fun waiting for it to recover just to attack so what do they do? Give us Skill Speed. Lots of it. I'm attacking .25 seconds faster & running out of TP that much quicker. And Accuracy....after 750~ it is useless...like 100% useless, worse than parry. That is why I am complaining.
And I am well aware secondary stats do almost nothing but that is an entirely different problem.
No....even if you raid secondary stats don't help you very much. The DPS checks are very reasonable now so you're better off stacking Vit than the 1% more damage you'd get, especially as a Tank where your damage is almost irrelevant. And the only reason some of the raid gear is better is bc they determine stats in a weird way. Basically no two pieces of same ilvl gear will EVER have the same sub stat. And yes I know you're being sarcastic.

In my opinion Substats actually dont do much!
I mean me as Bard with 1000crit and my other char with 700crit = no difference o_O
I did 3x 100 Auto atk on a dummy and counted all crit hits on my 2 chars. No big difference to see by having 700 or 1000crit!
Maybe every 100crit in stats = +~1,25 - 2,5 additional % chance? o__o;
(Would be nice if there is an info in the game that shows
how much in % the sub stats give as bonus!
Like for example: 1000Deter = +15% extra Damage/heal)
Since then I just care about having not to much Accurracy! Atm its min. 570 Acc.!
I still Hit everything on newest extreme Dungeon with just 570 Acc o:
You've no idea what you're talking about, no one is saying buff lower tier gear, we are saying let us take existing stats on gear and switch them for equal of less numerical value of another stat. Meaning, if you want to reroll accuracy which has let say 40, you couldn't get 89 piety out of it. As it stands players are hitting the accuracy cap on A12s at as low as 591. Given I have 796 accuracy thanks to my gear, I have over 205 in a bloated stat that is unnecessary to start with.

There are a lot of off topic posts(to clarify: I only mean posts insulting the OP), by newer MMO players or the very casual (I assume) who don't understand min/maxing gear. It's a important, or, at least, fun part of the game for some people, and those people are upset with the current gear selection. So what? There's nothing wrong with min/maxing or discussing stats in general. Why bother having stats if people can't voice their thoughts on them, negative or positive.
Recently returned player.

Or they could rework parry to make it actually do something in combat. There are two tanks that can't block, it would be nice if parry was reworked to work as intended.

They're planning to change/adjust it come 4.0, if memory serves. To what extent, I haven't the foggiest clue, but after three years of parry being subpar, I hope they have a good idea or two.
