Has SE forgot to readjust the MP costs for AST spells?

All in all it's kind of unfair-ish for the WHM side because is the only class with a "hard" cap. And saying "ish" because WHM assize allows their mp regen to scale with their mp, maybe it's some preparation for 4.0 who knows. However is extremely limiting, a WHM would need to stack up over 20k mp to outclass the current AST on mp regen before even considering both ewer and lightspeed and thats without considering shroud/LA ticks will most likely be buffed for 4.0.
And then there's always freecure. Anyways, if they keep AST as it is and buff WHM we might see some sort of equalization but we won't see it till lv 4.2 ish due to gear and the whole 4.0 mp/tick buff.

AST however is difficult to calculate because we know it can regen ~39k per min but lightspeed also gives the AST to cast 12 skills with 25% discount on the mp cost (10min course ofc) and then theres also the ewer draws.

Ast doesn't have freecure, enhanced medica, or overcure traits that reduce, or eliminate, spell cost.
