Please show what number people rolled in chat the moment you hit need/greed

Unfortunately, the disconnected WHM never came back. I asked what the SCH rolled and he said he rolled a 93. I don't know if he actually rolled a 93 since the game never told us his actual roll number, all it said was he rolled on the item and that's it. I myself rolled a 63. The other player rolled too but I have no idea what was his actual number. As time passed waiting for the WHM to come back, there was a message from the game saying that the instance would expire in about 5 minutes. There is also no loot timer when under master looter. We didn't know what would happen if the instance expired. We assumed that the instance would end and no one gets the loot. So, I asked the SCH lootmaster for us to do /random to see how much we roll and whoever gets the highest number wins the bird, but he declined. After another minute passed, the SCH stuck with his claim that he rolled a 93 suddenly gave the bird to himself and left the instance.

There was no message indicating that he rolled a 93 or what the other player or myself rolled in the chat log since the WHM never reconnected so the greed roll never passed, the lootmaster basically gave the bird to himself. This whole incident would have never occurred if the game told us what number the player rolled as soon as they hit the greed option instead of after the item is won. Please consider implementing this change as it doesn't seem too difficult to add and it would solve future incidents like this.

If the party was set under lootmaster rules, this should have been the pattern from the beginning for anything you were going to roll on. (And in a case like this with a missing member, someone could have done an extra /random roll on behalf of your missing WHM.) I'm not sure why you would have used the game's Greed options when loot distribution wasn't set to use that anyway.

If you trust him, then his saying he got a 93 presumably means he got a 93. If you don't trust him, then he should never have been given lootmaster power in the first place. (Lootmaster is really only suitable for statics or other groups of close friends, as it relies entirely on your ability to trust one member to share out the loot fairly.)
