Conflict: Ast vs. Ast

The exact same thing happened to me in Syrcus Tower a while ago. I waited to see if they would choose a sect and they didn't, so I went with Diurnal. Then they went with Diurnal and I was forced to switch. They also liked to overwrite my cards, too.

I think in that same run (it may have been a different one) they also said they weren't going to be doing any healing as they were eating dinner.

Because two wrongs don't make a right. The only info we have is in regards to the poster. They were warned for refusing to play - ok, justified on its own. Other people involved? More warnings are justified. But we're not going to know what happened to anyone else because I expect that GMs have a policy to not publicly share punishment information.

You're completely right and way too logical lol - I guess we all just get too caught up in our gaming worlds, I know i'm guilty of taking things too personally a lot of the time. Considering what OP said they said to her though, I do hope they got a similar punishment.

OT is suppose to pick those up? Every run I've done, I had to pick them up to avoid wiping... as a SMN. Good thing they don't hit hard.. Or do they? I always have a reliable pocket Scholar that's prepared for me to do something stupid, like pick up OT slack as a squishy caster.

Tbf, i've watched a video (early one with no commentary) once or twice and actually run it about 6 (with 1 victory lol) so i'm probably in no position to say how it should be done... But from what i've seen it makes more sense for the OT to pick them up. They don't seem to hit too hard, as long as the healers notice you! :P Although yeah, i've picked them up as a squishy BRD a few times when no one else was doing it >.<

Conflict: Ast vs. Ast

I used to have this problem too, but I found a good solution for it, which is called communication. When I got another AST as my co-healer last time in Void Ark, I immediately spoke up and asked "I wanna go Diurnal, you okay with Nocturnal?" She was okay, picked Nocturnal, and from this point on the chat was full of things like "AOE balance ready" or "your AOE arrow -> my power balance" or even "gonna use {Collective Unconscious}". We had about 90% cardbuff uptime and never overwrit one another, it was a breeze.

Question. If normal AOE can take hate from tank frequently that we have to stop using, where should we use AOE? In single play? In PVP? And what's the meaning of pulling a group, if tank can not keep the hate under AOE?

Higher level content where tanks have a tank stance, better hate generation overall, and more DPS classes have AoE abilities? I think the example was Sastasha - dungeon #1. And I'm just sitting here thinking - wait, AoE in Sastasha? That's a thing?
