Personal chests for private houses

So we have the fc chests which is used generally to help the entirety of a fc. What about a chest with a 5x5 grid that can be placed in personal homes for use. Now it could either be open to all items which would be fantastic or even limit it to specific types such as maybe bound furniture? We have the extra retainers which I already use. Currently up to 6, but I think this would be a nice thing to have as a reward for achieving the purchase of a house.

We've requested this many, many times but it would cut into their retainer hiring profits so it's unlikely to appear. =(

I don't think it would cut in the retainer profits all that much being how there not enough housing anyways. If anything it would just make housing even more valuable and wanted by players while at the same time making the limited amount of plots even worse in the eyes of many.

It'd be unfair to all the players who DON'T have a personal house as they can only get more item storage by paying a monthly fee.

Sure FC's have this, but it's a shared chest, not for one person. Admittedly a person could level up an FC by themselves, but they're in the minority compared to people who have personal homes and that doesn't even need a home to access the chest so technically that's available to everyone right now.

speaking of, the fc chest is like 3 or 4 tab slots too small really, but we got apartments and fc rooms which are pretty much the same thing, dont see a need to not allocate it, besides what others have said "gotta buy dem retainers"
