The thing I don't really get is, why put the pieces of gear in the loot table (for both Aquapolis & PoTD Bronze) instead of the materials? Putting the materials in would have reduced the raw material cost and scarcity issue, without totally killing the market for the crafted garments through massive oversupply.

Or perhaps I'm just oversimplifying?

I've leveled MCH 30-52 so far in PoTD gotten pretty much every glamour listed. Materia IVs/Vs 2 Walls, 3 Floors, 3 Furnishings. Lesser Panda, Baby Opo-opo, Page 63 Tiny Bulb. ~100k in Allagan Peices. Overall I'm happy. Made millions of gil especially before market crashed, a few minions for my collection and exp.
