Right? xD
Nearly half of my recruits are like "I'll throw my life away for you!! Because you collected some Lvl 5 rocks off the ground!!"
Also, I feel like an orphanage already...5/8 members I have right now are orphans that found a new home in Limsa..

I can confirm though that the chemistry is at least somewhat random. My Cecily got something different from yours.
"When accompanying a Hyur, party chemistry trigger rates increase by 10%."
Seems we may have to kick members out just to get them to apply again and re-roll for a better chemistry trait.
EDIT: Actually, it seems their chemistry can change.

Fyce, or anyone else who has gotten Chemistry unlocked: Can you remove a chemistry once you've confirmed it?
This content shouldn't have been implemented in its current state. I was very much looking forward to finally ranking up in my favorite Grand Company, but this content has sucked out any interest I had in doing so.
I like it, it's an easy side activity to do that vests us a bit more into our GC without being horribly vital.
It's fluff, and dangit, I like fluff in this game.
That, and everyone seems to be forgetting the fact that this is the first step towards NPCs running content with us.
It would be nice if the older missions need less time after you unlocked the next squad rank.I'd like it if there were missions that didn't take a whole 18 hours. Throw in a few with variable timers. Longer timer = higher reward, etc.
Other than that I like it as something little to manage so far. Kinda neat. It's nice busywork/reason to log in along with the Wondrous Tails, anyway.
This way the longer timer would be the optimal exp reward for your sqad, not higher exp reward. But you can decide to do the lv 5 mission with your lv 22+ sqad for 4 hours less timer.
I'm just happy to have something to spend my GC seals on besides ventures.

I don't hate it? There's not exactly much there to like or hate. There's almost nothing to it, there's no rewards gated behind it (yet), so it's hard to put any weight into it being a good thing or not. I've been doing it, but not religiously and it's just a tiny little side-game. Basically one step up from the toy box games.
