Has anyone found Karakul Fleece or Karakul Ewes?

Fleece can be found in the market wards in Ul'dah. Rows and rows of stacks of 99 can be found there for cheap. Thank you RMT bots for doing the dirty work, selling them cheap, and destroying our economy!^^

I don't think all the fleece in the market wards is from RMT, since from the upper 30's to around 43-44 its the best thing to grind on for LTW, giving you 3 per synth. So given that, I could see the market wards being heavily flooded keeping the price of them down quite a bit. I usually just sold mine off to a vendor since I farmed all my sheepskin and didn't want to wait on them getting sold.

Regular fleece is very common and inexpensive.

The problem here was Karakul Fleece which is only occasionally dropped by black sheep.

Thankfully patch 1.19a will be adjusting the distribution of the black sheep because the situation was getting pretty bad and there was tension building between players and Linkshells over trying to obtain it.

That's not true. There are level 60+ boars just east of Camp Glory. They may not be soloable but they're fun to take on in groups and those in your party trying to finish up their last few levels to 50 will get nice XP.

Killed 35 sheeps, i have 7 no qulity Kakul fleece...

And all the previous recipes... (before felt) are now
crap since those yield crap exp for grinding from 45-50.

The old sheepskin to fleece recipe still works and as each sheepskin gives you 3 fleece it is possibly the best option if your leatherworking is high enough (34+). I have tested the new low rank sheep outside Limsa and they drop sheepskin to a rank 50 class. Alternatively I believe the old sheep hunting area is still in existence.

My understanding (although I have not personally tested this) is fleece drop from the sheep near Bloodshore.
