Is that literary analysis of 'The Boy and the Dragon Gay' not significant? We're regularly reminded that myths usually have a grain of truth to them. Ishgard has a myth of a boy being saved through the consumption of dragon blood, the same process that cursed the Ishgardian people to be susceptible to metamorphosis by Nidhogg's brood. I would guess this predates the Dragonsong War since the child had befriended the dragon, so it implies there may be a mixed human/draconic bloodline elsewhere in the world that predates Thordan and his knights' partaking of Ratatoskr's eyes.

My theory is that the Brayflox book is meant to poke fun at the Lore Q&A segments.

What's one of the burning questions every single time? "HOW IS ROEGAFELL BABBY FORMED?"

You spend the first half of the book thinking it's a Roegadyn crushin' on a Lalafell and BAM. Brayflox.

Eh? I'm not so sure there's any merit to a mixed bloodline predating Thordan. The analysis clearly states that it's a retelling of an Ishgardian myth. For there to be any semblance of an Ishgard at all, we're post-Thordan I and Ratatoskr.

Yet if we're post-Thordan then any children befriending dragons would be executed as heretics. The entire nature of myths is that they typically predate modern memory so much that the story gets distorted. Being an Ishgardian myth does not mean it can't have happened before Ishgard was formed.

Proceedings of the Council of Magi: Proceedings of the 284th Convocation of the Amdapori Council of Magi A Vote was called to settle on a Name for a potent and newly-fashioned Healing-Spell. Being that said Healing-Spell was an Augmentation of Curaga, erst the most potent Healing-Spell, the following Names were proposed by the Council. Curago, Curaza, Curaja, Curagura Finding the afore-written Names duly lacking in Gravity and the existing Hierarchy of Spell-Names needlessly abstruse, the Council did Vote by a margin of Seventeen to Three to do away with existing Naming-Conventions entirely and adopt a new system of numerical Spell-Names, as writ below, to be used henceforth. Cure I, Cure II, Cure III, Cure IV

Probably middle-aged, by our standards? She's got a daughter, and despite the general dilapidated state of the Hinterlands, it hasn't been abandoned all that long. Y'shtola was born and raised there, and she's only in, what, her 20s?

Well, you have to remember that the Sharlayan did take most of the books with them when they pussied out, and all the summoned voidsend simply ended up restocking the shelves during the past years. So this poem might be fairly new, just like the diary of that void obsessed Gridanian goldsmith from normal mode
