I'd be happier to see something more akin to how Rune Factory or Harvest Moon does it.

Like, give me an actual NPC with a personality, have special quests to complete with them, have dates, and let me take them into the field, whether for combat or gathering. And let me keeping doimg fun stuff with them after marriage!

If we're puttimg a dating sim mini game in FFXIV, lets do this right!
