What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

So in palace of the dead they added accursed hoards. It is basicly treasure chests that you can't see unless you happen to step on it by mistake or use a pomander item that reveals it. pomander of intuition is the name I believe. You can only get 1 per floor from my experience and after you complete the dungeon there is an npc at quarrymill by the person who gives the aether weapons who will give you one item per accursed hoard your party found.

Sometimes you can get 6 or 7 just for the first 10 floors

People need to learn that. I've had to explain it so many times that the intuition is active until we find a chest. Enter the next floor and someone uses another Intuition immediately.

Got mine on bag 114, which took about 60 runs. Not too bad, but I'm sure there will be people with worse luck than me.

Could swear it says "current floor" in the tooltip. I mean, I know it does work on multiple floors, but if you just read the tooltip I'm pretty sure that's the case.

Literally false, it's apparently tradeable and if so, there will always be people selling it.

Can confirm it's tradeable btw, got 2 of them and sent one to my BF via mail and it worked fine.

While I understand how people hate the RNG aspects of it, I think it is still good to have a few things for people to 'grind' in order to get something they like/want. If it is worth it to someone, they'll get it. To be honest it isn't my most favorite hairstyle, but I'll wear it for awhile just because it is the ONLY hairstyle anyone has to work to gain (regardless of the braindead nature of the grind - it still shows tenacity). Here it is on Au Ra.

I have done 8x 1-50 runs and still no drop, worst part is the RNG . The RNG of getting the hairstyle is hidden behind another RNG: Which is the chance to have a Hoard bag drop. I have noticed that there were some runs where I would not get a single Hoard Bag each 10 floors and other times I would get 2-3 Hoard Bags every 10 floors.

I reckon the grind would be less awfull, if they made it so each floor or each two floors drop atleast one Hoard Bag.

Honestly yes, it would be faster to complete a whole 1-50 for a potsherd than the 60+ runs some people have had to do. Even with the fact that mine only took around 8 runs to drop I think it would have been a better option as it isn't chance based then (RNG). They could have even made it cost a lot of potsherd - but in that case people would probably complain about that too lol (I wouldn't!). It isn't hard to get potsherd, especially if running in parties. Just open bronze chests while running two saves at a time. I wish they had added more stuff to buy with potsherd, cause as it stands I'm just accumulating them for the possible chance they add more to the vendor in the future. I have so many mhachi matter between alts that I'll never have to use the potsherd for materia (though if I'm forced to I will, if they don't add any new rewards in 3.45).

I understand a huge part of the ARR game design is RNG, but I don't think that all of it should be. I was around to play EQ1 trying to get my cleric holy water sprinkler and never being able to get the drop in years of trying. I loved that game regardless back in the day. I'm not for everything having to be easy, in fact I enjoy grindy games. I still think the hair should have been potsherd buyable. It just should have cost a lot XD. I'm not complaining either - if I really want something I will work towards it (like this hair), but that doesn't change my opinion that it would have been better off as a potsherd item. Now excuse me while I go back to grinding 1-10 again for all of the furniture items that those that had to farm excessively got!
