Ok guys let me know what you think of this opener on Niddhogg ex i feel it could be most potency for the short duration hes down
(Shoulder Tackle) (Perfect Balance) - Snap punch (Blood for blood) - Snap punch (Str pot) - Demolish (internal release) - Dragon Kick (Steel Peak) - Twin snakes (Elixir Field) - Fracture (Howling fists) - Bootshine (Forbidden Chakra) - True Strike - Snap Punch (Torando Kick) - Bootshine.

Preliminary MNK stat weights, will probably be updated in the future:
STR: 1
WD: 14.8312045494837
Crit: 0.291785864914651
DET: 0.209996953500461
SKS: tbh, all I can say is that it's close to equal to det but because of tiering it's hard to properly get a stat weight.
As for BiS from calculations it's this: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/VSWY. To be noted is that both the Alex and Script belt are equally as good and can therefore be changed.
Those interested in why I'm saying that SS is close to Det can look at this image: Blue = Crit, Yellow = Det, Red = SS. To be noted as this was done with a sim some changes causes unwanted effects that can either increase or decrease the value of SS.

Thanks for the work on stat weights. Since the strengths of both skillspeed and determination seem so fuzzy I was wondering how a set like this set stacks up: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/VU17
I am constantly running low on tp so trying to avoid skill speed is generally my goal.
Oh, I am also assuming that your set uses priestly omlettes and not baked pipira pira.
According to what my sim spits out the difference between the 2 sets is 7 DPS, 2721 for mine and 2713 for yours, but it's usefulness is fully dependant on battle and just as you say TP is an issue. Thanks for the work on stat weights. I'm basing it on pipira pira as 4 star food isn't something that you would use when you have stuff on farm unless you want to score high, but adding priestly omelletes is a slight boost.
Does anyone know if it's common for monks that play with a nin to fit fracture and Touch of Death under Trick Attack during the opener? Also does anyone know of a way to get all ogcds fully buffed and use them under TA while also getting a fully buffed frac off without anything falling off?
I've come up with an opener but it goes against everything i've learned about what you should and shouldn't do as monk so before i post it i'd like to hear thoughts on the best monk opener when TA is involved.

Pre Pull Form Shift into Coeurl [Shoulder Tackle] > Demo [PB] > Snap > Snap [B4B] > DK [IR] > TwS [Pot] > ToD [Elixir Field] > Boot [Steel Peak] > True [Howling Fist] > Demo [Forbidden Chakra] > Fracture > DK > TwS > Snap
everything after using a potion up to using fracture should be within the trick attack
