And those updates come at a cost. If the devs go back and make adjustments to ARR's story, they will need to rewrite scripts, potentially redo voice acting for large chunks and even reanimate whole scenes because the story has to tie together. Much as I may despise the whole Company of Heroes nonsense. It would be incredibly jarring if you just hopped over to Titan after one conversation. All of this costs money. Therefore, those funds will be allocated to a portion of the expansion none of us will ever see unless we went back to level an alt. That is why I actually support the jump potion.
