What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

So people in my linkshells have started saying it's from Tails, too.
If that is the case, it would suck hard. RNG on a hairstyle? REALLY?

Well, since they listed the hairstyle under the 2.x additions in both the preliminary and final patch notes, locking it behind content available only at the end of HW content seems a bit unlikely. If that is where you can get it, there are going to be a bunch of people very pissed because the patch notes (both sets) led them to believe that it would be available to all players.

Queen's hairstyle exists in the database and was promoted as Pre-Heavensward content in the patch notes. But if it turns out to be locked behind Wondrous Tails or God forbid the Cash Shop (And I'm one of the people who support the Cash Shop) I will be furious.

you need to find one of these chest they just added and then hope after you appraised that at the npc, that the box contained the item to exchange again for the voucher... floors don't seem to matter but just like it was with the other items you could get in potd, you need to pray to rngesus. GL

Bah - just solo'd through 1-10, got 4 bags which gave me 2 IV materia, some magicked prism and thav bustier.

Gotta love it when they finally release long hairstyle and it's hidden behind RNG, might not even exist in the first place.

Indeed. Gear, I can understand. Crafting materials and such, I can understand. But a hairstyle? Why not just add a quest to retrieve something specific from PotD for the Aesthetician. Something that's a frequent enough drop as to not require many runs. Some ancient metal or something for him to use in his next pair of curling tongs, and he gives you a new hair style in thanks. At least that way obtaining it would have some connection with the Aesthetician. If it's a common drop, then require 2 or three of them to encourage more than one run if the aim is to increase participation in PotD.

agreed, its not very nice at all, was hoping for really long hair anyway, at least waist length with a little wave to it. Saves me going after it then ty for the picture!

I don't see anything wrong with a hairstyle being a bit difficult to obtain. I did farm for my pegasus mount non stop back in the day, and it felt very good when I got it. Id I liked this hairstyle, I'd also go for it.
Besides, we got three other ones in this patch, so it's not like we can complain about lack of hairstyles.
