I could barely skate by on crafting a tier 2 with my current gear, and the mats were already a bit annoying to get together since they weren't things I regularly use. Afaic, anyone who can craft a tier 4 deserves every penny they ask for.

(Is the Lala an available accessory? :P)

If you do it right - Yes! (this is our large fish tank with the repairguy to keep the fishies some company)

The large is worth every penny at 15 mil. Those stats are crazy. I can barely craft a tier 3 (I think, I'll try tonight but only 2 star). Mats are also expensive. They will probably come down a little but the 3 star oriental wood bridge has never been under 1.5 mil and that's been out a while. There's no reason to buy gil either. Put the time in and gil comes pretty easily.

I think that tier 4 might only really look good in a mansion anyway. A FC should have no problem getting one. If you own a personal mansion well, gil obviously is not an issue.

I have the stats to make the tier 4 fish tank, and I think the prices are so high cause people are just buying the mats to make the item otherwise it pretty easy to make since HQ not possible just time consuming to gather the mats. Since the teak logs to make the lumber are from a unspoiled node that only spawns once every RL hour.

I'm only interested in either the tier 3 or 4 tank, I'm sure the prices will come down but as right now they super expensive or going to take time to get the mats together if don't want to spend ton of gil.

Wow, a brand new high level crafted item being super expensive within the first few hours after the patch is released. Who'd have thought? lol
I think I'll get myself a little fishbowl for now, and wait a couple months before I look into big aquariums.

That's what I did! All I ever wanted out of aquariums was a fishbowl for my table anyway. I just made a couple big ones to sell.
