There's no way this was done on purpose, or if so, that's the worst design decision possible for this content.

It randomized because people complained and SE changed it. Same thing I'm doing here. And yeah I remember when everyone's B rank was the same, we had Naul several weeks in a row, it was horrible.

And yeah, got friends reporting their friends are all saying the same rewards too. So much for looking for any crafting pieces for now till it's fixed/changed.
