Why is Yoshi P turning his back on the playerbase that loves this game the most?

Different people like different things. I enjoy running content to not only practice and keep myself familiarised with my rotations, I also do it because I just plain enjoy running content. If you were on Marlboro I'd be more than happy to help with whatever you needed.

Thanks! Don't get me wrong, I have people I know who plays too, but it's not always they are avaiable or vise versa. But it just felt like I played a offline game for those hours I spent, some of them and nothing happened. I do appreciate peoples ideas or inputs on these forum, however, kinda sad about how things are.

They did this for the Anima 210 quest, and I loved it. Tired of grinding Tomestones ? Let's do some dailys ! Tired of dailys ? Let's tackle a little Gordias...or hunts...
Look at all the means you have to gain crystal sands for the reconditionned Anima weapon ?

Now, tell me how I can earn high level armor ? Tomestones, again...and again...since 2.0.

The Anima questline in HW has actually been very well designed. My only complaint with it has been the Umbrite portion of the Reconditioned (i240) stage—it would have been nice to have at least one other avenue in which to get them. I got tired of Esoterics farming very quickly.

I would like to see a daily bonus system. You log in, you're assigned a random piece of content, and you get all of your tomes for the day after completing it. Since it's randomized it would breathe life into many different types of content, and it would also keep the monotony down because you won't be logging into the same tired grind every single day.

I love this game and YoshiP is the best. Current structure is great. A vertical progression that is reset every two patches will allow players to always be close to the end game, whether you are new or took a break. It's ok to take breaks from this game or any game. I would agree we need more mid core content. How? I'd either add 2 more turns/floors or increase the difficulty of Alex normal (or its future equivalent)

I'm a tank taking over 1 hour and half for Snowcloack, something is terrible wrong. Like I explained in the other thread, about the same for Leviathan. I don't know what to expect anymore, sure I don't agree with everything that the dev's are doing but I think they aren't doing a bad job either. However players like me and this isn't only about me either. it's about the players like me getting told we gotta wait because there is nothing going on and there is plenty to do. Explain to me if there are things to do,....

maybe try to relog or something , its not normal to wait for snowcloak 1h as tank , like i sayed in another thread ive tryed it out since im on chaos datacenter and ive signed up as tank for snowcloak and had instant (1second maybe :P ) dungeon invite. (wich was around 10pm) so its not a data center fault :P

I really like the game as it is and i'm fully aware that one of these days there will pretty much be nothing new left to do for me, except for the new content they release every 3 months, i've been playing FFXIV for a year and a half (something like that) and i still find something new and/or fun to do each time i play (crafting\gathering\savage stuff\tribal quests\leveling other classes\title names collecting, etc). There is plenty of things to do if you just look around.

I'm not saying the game is perfect, there is no perfect online game and every online game (if not every game at all) lack something. It's impossible for everyone to be happy with every changes they make so they just go with the flow of the majority so they can make some money from their investment of making the game and keep the servers online.

and for the tank waiting an hour problem... the queue requests are multi-server and instanced, meaning that since there is less tank than dps...should be lightning fast

Upon seeing the thread title I was curious as to what I may find inside, but then I saw that it's just another Skizzle Fizzle thread. I don't need to read a single word of the OP to know it's pretty much going to be a long-winded rant of "Woe is me, why wont SE cater to an extremely niche audience?! I don't think FFXIV needs to be more like XI but here's why I think it needs to be more like XI!" or some other nonsense along those lines.
