    Neither do most 3DS games (or virtual boy games), but they don't really seem to have a problem with that.

    I'm not sure why people think VR has to be 1st person.

    I've wondered about this too. What I'd really like is 3rd person VR, where we're within the game world but able to see our character, with our own perspective hovering nearby, the same as camera position does now.

    Chronos is a nice example of that. It is a great game and not first person, while it is an RPG.
