Not sure why they are ending it, for new players to catch up? But for some veterans exclusive items were the only reason to stay subscribed all the time without breaks even when they were not playing, now 1 month per every patch will be enough. If anything, ending these loyalty bonuses will only lead to lost subs.

Good, so ppl that start this year can get everything too.. 1400 days is fine place to stop. If they dont some ppl many never get the good crap. Or what they want.

That's why they are called veteran rewards. Because they are supposed to be only for veterans, not new players.

Well there are people in other theads complaining (after just started ffxiv) they want the vet rewards like yesterday (Jeez can't they wait like the rest of us)

I don't mind if they stop the Vet reward as long as they don't stop the program and make them availble another way (Mog Station)

Seems like they want to enable the 1 month sub 2-5 month unsub cycle even more.

That's disappointing. I don't understand why they'd remove it and the cynical part of me believes that it'll just result in an increase in the amount of items made available on the Mog Station instead.

As it stands very few MMO's make their seasoned players feel valued. FFXIV's Veteran Reward system is a pretty awesome 'thank you' to players who subscribe for an extended period of time.
