sorry i was counting circle of scorn as an AoE. its DoT though, i'd like at least something to synergise with bloodbath in an aoe situation at least

Circle of Scorn starts with a 100 potency hit which does trigger bloodbath.

Thinking about things, one of the simplest ways to boost Paladin AoE output could be to increase CoS's initial potency, DoT potency and decrease the recast timer to 15s.

A potency of 200, DoT of 50 and recast of 15s would make it roughly 30 potency per second per target. Though that would mean that Paladin AoE is more sustained damage rather than burst damage.

The initial hit triggers bloodbath sure, but thats such a tiny, tiny amount. especially when the DoT aspect doesnt do anything with bloodbath. I Don't want paladin to necessarily have a spammable AoE like everyone else, flash works for that but reducing CoS's recast is one thing, perhaps adding more oGCD skills or DoT aggro generation would be interesting. Consecrated ground, harming enemies who step inside (a ground based DoT), or just some insta-cast AoEs with a cooldown. can used bloodbath to burst up a bit of health with all at once, then wait til they come off cooldown using general defensive buffs. This basically leads to a class where you'll go in, build up a load of aggro, then spend your time hiding behind your shield and focusing on defence until youre ready to retailate. My only problem with that is it may be hard to balance for single target boss fights, where a paladin OT may pull aggro using their oGCDs as they would, or as mt it would play similarly to drk with building a huge aggro lead and then just going through dps rotations.
