True, latency might be 'fun' to combat... Times would probably suit me more, hah... I normally play at "night" in the EU, so everyone goes to bed at like 11pm when I'm still wanting to do content. :P

It's not fun, it's annoying. I leveled an alt on Balmung (eventually moved it to EU) and there is a huge difference in the quality of life. Playing on US servers is sluggish in comparison to EU latency. Almost every single click has a delay, and of course mechanics are "faster", while skills more often fail. If you want to transfer there just because it has 50% more characters than Ragnarok etc. I would not advise you to do such a thing. You would need to pile up many reasons to make it worth it.
