The 3 stages of Alisaie in 3.4

So it has been revealed Alisaie's personality will be affected by what stage of Coil the player is in.

We have..

Stage 1 (did not complete Coil or only complete 1st Coil)
- The No character development and "you're not so great stage" Personality.

Stage 2 (complete 2nd Coil)
- the "oh it is you" stage and character still not developed Personality.

Stage 3 (Complete Coil Storyline)
- The "Hi friend" and Developed character personality.

You think her personality will persist into future FF14 storyline until players complete Coil Story or will there be a story character development that set her into stage 3 for players who did not complete Coil Storyline.

They did the same with Estinien. I was eager to complete Coil to witness this for myself but I am surprised that so many other people are taking it as seriously. In Estinien's case, it was a single line of difference and then he regarded you no differently to a non-DRG player for the rest of the storyline; I expect no less from here.

Nonetheless, it's something I want to experience on one of my characters first-hand.

It's more a case of introductions I think. If players haven't done Coil then they have never actually met Alisae properly. The most they've done is observe her and Alphinaud have an argument way back around level 20.

The difference in dialogue here is likely just to cover introductions where necessary, with her treating you differently upon meeting based on how well she knows you.

Only difference will be the introduction when meeting Alisaie and during the MSQ when she refers to something that happend in Coil, If the topic is about heroes, primals, her grandfather etc, she will have certain lines depending on your progression in Coil, atleast this is what I think.

I think it was said to be a single sentence change. I still did the Final Coil to unlock it, but you probably won't miss out on some huge piece of lore, or WoL/Alisae shipping story.

guess it is the feeling that the WoL's actions was not forgotten and had actual effect on the world.

Coil is a very big deal when you consider the scale of danger it had if the WoL was not there to defeat that great threat and even the story hinted that Alisaie alone will never defeat that threat without the help of the WoL due to her current character state. If Coil was never finished then the world is bound to end because the WoL was not there to defeat this great threat more dangerous than the Main Scenario Final boss. Yet having the world act like it never happened just brings a bitter taste and disappointment considering the effort put into that seriously important storyline.

I don't know... Yoshi-p did say in a interview that he would like it that people do coil before 3.4 because of the changes. The fact that he telling people to do it means it could be more than that. He even said unsync it if you have to just go do coil for extra dialogue. Also they said if you complete coil after doing the 3.4 story you won't be able to see the dialogue in the Inn or House using The Unending Journey.

I'm enjoying Alexander very much (normal mode that is, Savage is unattainable). I'm just far too late for the Coil and can't find a reason to see what it's about.
