I agree with you with a small BUT (huge)........there is a difference between DEMANDING as in I DEMAND OF YOU and THINGS HAPPENING over time.

My personal situation : I have discord, I dont use it at all or so rarely that is even annoying and not even in voice or only with some chosen people, but when you demand stuff from someone, there is already a biaised start in the Relationship, you dont even know the person and want to right away hear her voice ? who said I have to abid by your (General your) DEMAND, who are you to command me in that way ? see my point? Besides to me, voice is already having a tie in RL, I am not comfortable in doing it right away, am I not entitled to it ? Shouldnt that be respected to ? I believe people put demands on others and expect them to be met right away without really considering the other person feelings you know, it doesnt work that way in any Relationship it doesnt work that way ever, in my opinion.

I, personally, dont need a proof from anyone that they are who they are but equally I take the chance to be lied upon and mislead. I dont want to have demands put on me that the moment they are not met I automatically become bad, this goes for voice AND ERP and yep both situations happened to me. Demand ERP and demand voice in the name of what ? and yeah it exists.

I know ERP (in-game and even demands for ERP in voice) happens but not on whim (how many I Had to slap back in place) as I said to someone I am not a rabbit nor a cat in need you know, I know voice happens and yep it would..but not when you demand it.

Should we ask a copy of the ID too to be sure that we are not dealing with a minor? Wouldnt that make more sense then hearing a voice ? Never seen this happen though. When is it too much and when is too little ?

in short DEMANDING anything from anyone is just plain wrong. You are on internet you know you can be lied to. I cant count how many times people have lied to me but is not like I didnt know or better said wasnt prepare to it, whoever is wearing pink glasses is surely going in front of a desilusion and a high one, if you want to protect yourself, then dont try to have relationships and more so trying to start a Relationship on line to be brought over in IRL, sure you could meet in IRL just to see the face but unless you have been working hard and very hard at it for a long time, is only a virtual Relationship with a small tie in RL that is called friendship or acquaintance.

Bah....this being said I still look for that one....(Yeah I like dreams..).....
