Punishment for exploitation of Power Leveling

Everyone disagreeing has obviously abused the power leveling exploit and doesn't wanna get banned, looool.

I don't think SE can rightfully punish people for taking advantage of a system that SE itself put in place.
People will try to find the easiest/most efficient ways of doing things, and SE allowed PLing by their own decisions.

I know people who power leveled from R1 to R50 in 3 days or less after 1.19.
That's fine for them. I wish them luck in their game and hope they enjoy it now that they skipped all the way to R50.

Have I ever done it? Would I do it? Absolutely not.
I am enjoying every day of the journey, and PLing goes against my idea of having fun.

Though, its still going to result in mass xp and kills whether or not the PL is outside or within the party. Its just the same system but more complicated, only have to fight lower level mobs that cant one-hit you.

Yes, that's true. But the insane exp numbers we're seeing now will die because they're coming from high levels just blowing up crowds of mobs, and they won't be able to do that anymore since the low level will have to tag them.

Everytime i see this fallacy it makes me angry.

Easy access to a max rank character affects everything from the economy and the supply and demand of low-mid level equipment, all the way to players available to partying, and trusting that majority of max rank characters being able to preform they're role in a party successfully.


I don't think they should be punished but i think SE needs to act on this before it gets more out of hand, and discourages people from trying to learn how to party the way they're supposed to. At the very least announce they're position on the matter so that I can know if its going to go away or not. Cause if its not then i'll stop playing, but if it isn't i'll level crafts till they fix it.

No, you're completely incorrect lol. The way it's supposed to be is that anyone can attack a mob, claimed or not. But the first person to tag it gets the exp and items. The way it is now, the high level can be in your party and you don't even have to touch the mob to get the rewards. That's what they're going to fix. The low level will have to tag the mobs, then have the high level, outside the party, help kill them.

Are you really this blind? It was the first party to attack and it was ALWAYS going to be this, go read the patch notes and every pre dev letter, No where does it state the first PERSON only the first PARTY which is working exactly as intended.

I fully agree with OP, I miss when the times when one had to actually grind for several hours a day to see some sort of progress in exp. Lets turn this new Final Fantasy into another version of XI so we can give the babies their bottles.
