no where in the post does it say the mechanic isnt working as intended

what they are saying is there is an issue with people "AFK"ing during it

now that i can see as an issue, and in its own way "illegal" play

you cant be afk and benefit from it, thats obviously not how its supposed to work

but no where in it does he say they misprogrammed it

It doesnt say its a bug, it says not working how they thought (People AOEing).

Its like FFXI Ninja did not work as how they intended.

He specifically says that the limiting of exp with a higher level player in the party is not working. The translation is literally "not working as intended." Which means bugged. Which means exploit.

oh wait we had all our combat classes to 50 before the patch!

look at who your talking to about this lol, we arent the ones taking advantage o fit, but we understand "bad translation dev talk" pretty well, a few of us follow them very closely and usualy can tell what bad wording is or what they mean.


the inhibitor thats not working is the old claim system(its not working cuz they removed it)

It's not the old claim system lol. It's having a high level IN your party. It should be limiting exp with a high level in a lower level's party. It isn't. It is broken. Period. That's just what's going on lol.

But that will not change or if you make it so you cant have a PL in the PT then you affectively remove PLing.

A mob 10 lvs above you could easily kill you and make the whole process slow.

Level Sync would fix this issue. This way you can still "help out a friend" and not hinder their experience with the game low-mid levels.

No, you're completely incorrect lol. The way it's supposed to be is that anyone can attack a mob, claimed or not. But the first person to tag it gets the exp and items. The way it is now, the high level can be in your party and you don't even have to touch the mob to get the rewards. That's what they're going to fix. The low level will have to tag the mobs, then have the high level, outside the party, help kill them.

I really dont think you can read. Especially considering on the color post he explains the bugs n flaws, but this is just "Not working as intended." which is "We didnt think you guys would link 10 mobs and aoe them".

Blame QA.

Not to mention, the system is gunna stay, just AFK will have a counter measure.

At the beginning of the game, there was another instance of "clever use of mechanics" by which conjurers could level 1-50 in a couple of days. The offenders got all the unfair experience removed when this was fixed. With this precedent in mind I don't see why SE shouldn't do the same now.

Note that I'm perfectly happy with the PLing as it is now and would like it to stay as is, but if SE now claim that this was not intended behaviour and it is an unfair way of earning experience, then they should definitely remove all the experience that was unfairly given out, along with fixing the bug that allows this in the first place.

They aren't going to ban people.
People saying it's a bug can't read or they read what they want and skip the rest.
