One note on Monk is that in a perfect world you are weaving between FOE and FOW as necessary. Not the easiest thing to find space on your hotbar for or get used to doing, but once you do it makes a big difference. In general though, like you said, FOE is safer and the stance to be in if not yet comfortable with the stance dance.

Thanks for the input. I am aware that stance dancing is optimal, but this guide is just meant for your typical bronze/silver player.
