The poison from the last boss in Hullbreaker (Hard)? No, it doesn't do that much damage. It reduces the damage you do. No competent dps would want to ignore it.

Ohh it does that? That makes my original story even funnier then since the BLM refused to move and cleanse the poison so he could stay in his Enochian :P which is probably more of a boost but it makes me chuckle to think it cancelled it out

& for today's story - long Stone Vigil run with a DRK who wouldn't use Grit until asked twice, then would pop like every cool down pre battle... good thing I wasn't a newbie healer! He's gonna give someone a heart attack >.<

last floor PoTD, we had no upgrades / no silver chests whatsoever from 41 to 49. We just started the floor 49, and suddenly a swarm of mobs on us, one of the MCH rushed ahead and pulled while we were ot ready, worse, the other MCH (they were together in ) used Manticore but for some strange bizarre occurrence it was cancelled...strange uh?

Story short, we wipped after 1h of runing that place at the last floor because two players decided it wasnt fair to start over....how nice uh?

And no, it wasnt a coincidence ....it happend.. wish I had time to report them but alas I didnt.

I've done that. Unlike the dps or healers limit break the tank has no cast time so no time to cancel if you hit it by accident...

I've done that too. Fat fingered while on the wrong hotbar. Moved lb to a different hotbar. It's instant, and absolutely embarrassing.

Manticore won't work if knockbacks are disabled. One run, someone ran into a room with rage, no knockback, died.. Second person ran after him, rage, died.. Third person pulled several of those mobs (he was trying to scoot in to res or help the manticore I think) and died.. So as DRG, I got to slowly pick off a few until I could get close enough to phoenix down someone. I had to use CDs/pots and almost died to each one, plus was sick IRL and having a coughing fit. ;__;

I've done it as well. I keep LB on a hotbar where I have to manually click it on all hotbars. Still managed to fat finger the bloody LB (on my healers, least I had time to cancel, despite the embarassing konami code message it sent)

First time running Brayflox Hard as a BRD (50 roulette).
Everything is fine, we literally rush through the dungeon... but then, the final boss.

I am a NIN main, and usually I just use Death Blossom as much as I can, no need to target bombs to knock them away.
Anyway, bombs spawned and my aoe skills are on CTRL + 1/2/3.
I tried to tab target between the bombs while I constantly spammed aoes.
It ended with me never facing in the direction I wanted to.

I let my party wipe three times before realizing that I could simply use the mouse to target them more efficiently in this case. Three wipes. I am so ashamed.
Another example of "Just because you are nearing max level doesn't mean you know how to play your class".

Speaking of tank LBs, I had a tank pop LB3 on Ifrit HM the other day after the nail phase. We killed them in time, but I think the MT was our newbie, and funnily enough, it did take lower the damage! I didn't even need to Medica!

2am, I decide to tag along for 60 roul with two US-American mates of mine. Antitower. Just fantaaaastic, I think in my sleep-muddled brain, because I've rolled it for the 3rd or 4th time in a row (and the first one of that chain made it onto here), but it can't be worse than that 40 minute terror.

Dark Knight has no Darkside. Bleh, they've either forgotten or are one of these who only use it on bosses.
Dark Knight sprints when I sprint. What.
Aggro's bouncing all over the place. I can heal Antitower in my sleep, I've run it ad nauseum when it was in Ex Roulette (I don't with two and a half weeks of Antitower in Ex Roulette every day upon anyone, it's terrible).

Now, admittedly, I'm not the nicest lady around when I'm sleepy, but right before the second boss DRK goes afk after some VERY wild pulls. Meaning I also get very defensive very very easily. It's 2:30 in the morning, I don't have the brain capacity to tell apart whether someone's insulting me or not at this point.

Oookay. Now, smn mate gets impatient, we all get impatient (and I'm dozing off), says something. Now, I'm not saying I was nice there, but I've had it up to here with mothballed insults towards me in this game for no reason at all, and it's 2 in the morning, I seriously don't know who's talking about whom anymore. To be fair, it REALLY sounds like they're talking about my healing, which is pretty much overhealing at this point because aggro's bouncing on mobs.

??? Seriously, the wording made me almost shoot awake again, because every single time a tank said 'be glad im not dead' it was to insult the healer directly, or indirectly. And I've not had a single tank in Antitower drop dead randomly during even the biggest pulls in there since release. I've dropped a tank or two because I thought I could squeeze out another gravity or two, but I always owned up to that mistake.
From this point on I'm just gleefully dozing off again, healing as aggro bounces until Calcabrina...
