Do you, perhaps, mean Storm's Eye? Because, no. That move does not effect healing in PvP. That is actually a relatively recent change, as well. It does still reduce slashing resistance, but the healing debuff is not in effect in PvP ... or anywhere, to be honest. There's less than a handful of PvE fights in which the boss will self-heal, so that effect is essentially useless in all content. It's only utility is to debuff slashing for additional dmg on War and Nin, which is ridiculously effective.

Technically, despite the fact that Storms Eye has no effect on healing in PvP, the additional dmg that comes with the reduced slashing resistance has a similar effect because the pressure on healers becomes obscene. This is especially the case when the melee dps is a ninja. A good Nin/War combo can keep the healer suppressed better than a Pld for almost the entire duration of the match.

Storm's Eye healing effect reduction was moved to Ninja's Shadowfang ability (in PvP only, ofc) a couple of patches ago.

True lol. War was practically a face-roll job, back then. Anyone could use it and rock an easy fever without really trying.

That said, it is still the strongest tank for PvP content, hands down. Depending on how poorly SE handles CC utilities in 3.4, even Pld might get bumped off the log as a viable option. We'll have to wait and see, though. So far, they've only mentioned Sleep by name, so Pld's might be safe.

I think pld's are the strongest tank, 2nd would be war. The best offense is a solid defense and a good pld makes killing the opposite team members hard.

Unless they bring PLD stun down to like 2 seconds, then no. PLD will still be very competitive. WAR is easier to play, but the "best" tank will be comp dependent.

Warrior is the best in soloq because anyone can hit fell cleave, it requires no coordination. But this isn't a tank discussion, a different discussion should be started on how bad tanks are for carrying anyone in soloq...
