[Request] Have the "Haddock" crafting item available for sale in a normal shop.

So the Moonfire Faire 2015 event added a recipe "Battered Fish". It could only be crafted if the player bought a material, "Haddock", from the NPC at the event. It is NOT a fish gathered by fishing, that was the only way to obtain it.

For those that haven't been able to craft the item yet because they started late, it would be nice for them to be able to craft it for the completion check mark. I've seen others in the past ask about it. Luckily I've never missed a seasonal event.

It would be no big deal even if it's not an event item, because other crafted seasonal items are still available to make even if they're not used. Right?

It's already market prohibited (can't be sold on the market board) so this change wouldn't negatively affect anyone.

My suggestion: Add it to the FC housing's "material supplier", after all, Dodo Stuffing/Dodo Roaster was added to their inventory, which are both seasonal items.

I dont wanna be rude, but I actually believe any one who has a serious issue with not being able to craft EVERY recipe, should seek professional help for their OCD - and yes, I mean that as illness, not throwing some fluff word around here.

I can get behind adding the haddock to some vendor or so, thats not the issue... but I'm seriously confused about how people are having such a big problem with not being able to craft a useless level 5 item...

And the cost of two transfers is nothing. It's only a little over an hour of work, which I can count as part of my pooping schedule.

Why are you confused? Though no one is fit to make a diagnosis online, it's still ok to recognize abnormal or odd behaviour. Most people simply will not be willing to transfer servers and pay a million gil to complete a level 1-5 crafting log.

I can relate though. Seeing this incompletion in my crafting log drives me freakin nuts. Not being able to obtain the champion rank with my GC drives me freakin nuts. Give me 3 crackers and 2 pieces of cheese, and I will eat your face! For people like myself and the OP, it's not crazy to go to these lengths to complete things; it's crazy that the devs came up with a recipe that requires ingredients from a seasonal event. They are either really evil, or really stupid.

No, I'm not mad - I'm only confused that someone whould be willing to pay 28€ (something I dont consider "nothing") to complete a level 5 craft... I understood that you've crafted it already, but just the thought of it appeared odd to me.

Is it really a seasonal event item if it doesn't come back each season? They didn't have them at the Moonfire Faire this year.

They're adding new fish at a rate of 10 per patch starting with 3.4. They may be intending to bring haddock back.

Hmm... The recent additions was adding big fish to Heavensward areas from what I can tell. All low level and 2.0 areas are basically complete.
