I never said I have a problem with them getting caught. I just don't eat my friends. Imprisoning them is fiiiine.. °-°

You're not alone, OP, I was quite disgusted by all those quests. They steal chocobo's freedom (or worse) for money, and I'm supposed to feel sympathy for them or find their work admirable. I was also glad when I finished that part of the story, haha.

Let me rephrase that: "I was quite disgusted by all those quests. They steal chocobo's freedom and sell them to Ishgard who sells them/their offspring to the GC's where my my chocobo is from that I abuse all the time instead of granting it said freedom, and I'm supposed to feel sympathy for them or find their work admirable. I was also glad when I finished that part of the story because it highlighted how I profit from their work and that probably made me uncomfortable, I'd rather not think about where my fighting slave comes from, haha."
