2 sounds like a witch hunt honestly. What kind of immature, no life would make/enter an alt strictly for this purpose? I know of several ppl with alts in Feast and none of them think this way. They might not be explicitly thinking about how their alts are taking away spots from other potential players but they definitely aren't making alts for the sole purpose of intentionally seeking to do something as petty and pathetic as actively preventing others from getting rewards.

I don't have a problem with playing with new players, but I can understand why higher ranked players complain about getting slotted with new players.

Like I said, winning is more fun than losing. No one joins a competition with the intent of getting their ass handed to them every single match. There's nothing fun about that. When you see the same people making the same mistakes over and over and over, it's not unreasonable to get a little frustrated. The matchmaking and point scaling are also problems, because it makes ranking up a statistical improbability unless you do a selective queue or just stop queuing entirely when you reach a half-decent rank. Silver rank (and gold, I'm told) is like hitting a brick wall if you queue regularly. Consecutive losses is a high probability because of the way matchmaking works, so people are bound to get a little pissy, especially if they have a competitive personality.

    100% agreed.

I can understand why people would want to queue up with an alt to test the waters. It's like having a throw away character for that purpose. I can understand wanting new gear for an alt that looks snazzy. I can understand wanting to play on alternate jobs that one avi might not have unlocked. I can even understand wanting to play anonymously without any attached stigmas or expectations from a previous character that may or may not be well known on your server/data center. I cannot understand playing purely for the vindictive sake of screwing over other people from getting in the top 100. I don't think I've met anyone who's queued with an alt for that purpose, or had that even cross their mind when they do it.

People using alts because it's the only way to enjoy the feast without risking losing points. It's because of the terrible match making we have this season.

The current situation is a byproduct of what se implement in match making.

If alts are banned, then say goodbye to feast. No one will risk their points once they get to a good spot in the top 100. Pretty much afk to season 3.

This. PvP here is dead enough without discouraging people for glamour reasons.

But that just makes it worse.

There are a lot of alts on Primal DC as well. Especially in the top 50 of the top 100.
I really don't see any way to fix this atm since people play their alts if their mains are in a high ranking.

I know people that are leveling 3rd alts now (it takes 2 weeks) I assume season 3 will be loaded with alts if things don't change.

Not really, a lot of silver people still play hoping to get in top 100 and so do gold people that want platinum. The only people that are afk are those who have alts.

By the long time that took to level alt to 60 and gear it up during season 2. You should have played, entered and maintained a spot in top 100 already.

Alts don't have anything to do with taking a spot away from you. Since feast queues are only active in the evening it is impossible to play 12 hours a day for the soul purpose " take a spot away from you in top 100 " .

people play alt to enjoy feast that is all. If there is a mode for 4v4 to enjoy feast without risking rankings, we wouldn't see alts in ranked matches. We would have chance to practice other jobs as well.

I'd rather have Feast dead and 100 different people have rewards than 10 alts getting rewards while those 10 could've been people's mains.
