Not just that, but reporting ppl for playing a dungeon to it's fullest and what it was designed for... some ppl eyAmdapor Keep (...), and if we don't stop killing everything, he's gonna report us. Just wtf. We told him that the majority of the party wants to do a full run, and if he as the only person is not okay with that, he's free to leave. He didn't leave, but seriously, sometimes I don't understand why some people are this impatient that they even want to report someone for having another playstyle than themselves.
Right? I mean, it's always kind of annoying when an LB is wasted (unless it's a very specific situation; tank lb is usually a waste, for example) but in this case, what Selli did was 100% in line with what the community considers "right", as far as I know.
if anything, healers and/or ranged dps and tanks get yelled at for using it, but a melee DPS? :0
Yeah I haven't seen them either since 2.0..xD
Back when ARR was released, that fight took a lot longer and was fairly annoying to do, although it was never "hard" in any way.
Although "phases" is kind of an exxageration. It's just; first you have him just normally attack the tank (and nowadays we just burn him down before he switches to additional mechanics), after some time he throws fire puddles at random players which hurt quite a bit and limit your room to evade the next part in which he charges up cannons that will shoot very spacey AoEs at you.
I remember how lots of people died to those cannons back then![]()
I don't see why not. We're dating. She's not physically on my account, so it's not account sharing. I'm doing it because I want to, not because she's pointing a gun to my head. She types it up in a document like Notepad and I decide if I want to/have the energy to post it. This is only the second or third time we've done this, so it's not like she's sitting there typing up every single post for me. I don't like the forums, so I wouldn't have another reason to be on here or posting anyway. I love my girlfriend and I don't mind putting the effort into being somewhat active in this community if it makes her happy.
If people don't like it, then there's a block button on my profile that anyone can use. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Am I the only lucky person here to have more fun and memorable experiences with the Duty Finder than the bad ones
Just a few to spare xD

So, was just levelling up my Warrior back then. It was a Stone Vigil HM. Last boss were the 2 derp dinos. My party was all caster so it was tough for them, eventually they got rekt. Ended up alone. And yep, i solo-ed them, dancing like a true viking. Got all 3 comms and everyone left happily xD. #WAROP strikes again.

Again, frigging Stone Vigil. Welp, normal mode anyway. 1st pull, The tank bailed on us. Our comp back then was: me - DRG, a WHM and a BLM. I went 'tank is overrated anw'. We agreed. OH MY GOD IT HURTS WHY ARE THEY HITTING SO HARD MY BODYYYYYY - that was me in the next pull and the next one and the next. But We cleared it, with 2 dupus and a healer. Isgebind was the toughest; his Ice Breath hit like a bus. Another fine run, and it was a bit recent too. Tbf the WHM deserved the 2 comms, not me. Again, love ya healers !
Decided to give Astrologian a spin in Void Ark in an attempt to re-learn how to play the class.
I have infamously bad luck, why did I ever think it was a good idea? Well, infamous in the sense that I only drew a grand total of 3 balance cards throughout the entire run. I think the party noticed and took pity on me because I somehow left with 3 comms. ._.
Dark Knight who didn't want to use darkside because of MP 'problem' and never once used any defensive buff, had the 230 relic weapon on top of that, would lose aggro every now and then VS the MCH...of all the classes. Kept turning the mob in sohr alai (w/e the name) from time to time towards the party, especially those small bird that cleave, not sure if it was intentional or just a complete lack sense.
Sometimes you wonder how some people even manage to get a class to 60, with how bad they play it..
No, but bad ones are usually a lot more memorable
Unless it's an overwhelmingly positive experience. And most runs aren't that, they are just kinda "meh" with a few bad and even less amazing runs mixed in.
Mini-story since I ranted about my trial tank last page:
Someone in Newbie Network asked for help with The Navel. I was free so I joined, and to speed it up, I went tank, confidentally threw on Grit and was ready to go >:-D
They wanted to unsync it and I got a bit..grumpy(?), telling them how doing all low level stuff unsynced is destroying the experience and so on.
So, long story short, we went in synced with 3 mentors and the newbie.
I pulled Titan, positioned him nicely, everything started off fine, and....
...I lost hate.
"Oh wow, how did that happen, I'm a lvl 60 DRK, even synced that should not happen!
I need to focus more on the aggro combo instead of the MP one"
Right after, Titan ignored me once again. I was confused and kind of shocked and felt so bad about it too because I talked the newbie into the synced run and now I was failing so spectaculary ._.
Well, I'm glad to say that it only took me several more moments of panically spamming my aggro combo with Bloodweapon on for increased DMG after voking it back to me, that I realized:
"Wait...why is Bloodweapon even available to me? What happened to Grit?"
Well, nothing. It obviously had vanished when we got synced upon entry. Duh.
...I'M SUCH A GREAT MENTOR (ʘ‿ʘ)
(Everyone was really chill about it though and it's not like anything bad happened because of it, but yeah, that was kinda fail)
