We could further be allowed to mix other emotes in like /doze if the text was boring or /smile & /laugh if it was fun to read!...

Pretty sure the victory poses for SMN/SCH do this, and I doubt it could be done any other way (unless we get a whole cycle of class specific sit animations)

I've been noticing that a few NPCs have certain poses that aren't available for us to use (yet) like that one Elvaan NPC behind the bar at the Brume or these guys:





I'd love to have that stance for my PLD :-D

I like this lip biting to be an emote

/lockhands emote, where your targeted character holds hands with you. Which is then accepted with a approval from the other. Then its like a follow option you drag the person with you.
