New Emotes you would like to see?

In a few other mmorpgs i've played there's a /playdead emote. It's so fun in pvp and occasionally works.

I'd like to have the emotes that are already in the game but are cutscene only, like the startled male miqo'te emote.

Maybe a something-something for people who like to do a bit of RP, an emote which animates your character eating or drinking something. EDIT: Not in the exact same way your character does when actually eating something, but in a way which builds off that.

I also like the idea of a /joke, or a /silly of some kind.

I would like to ask would it be possible to make facial expressions permanent or until you press another? This has been something I know a lot of people would have loved for a long time now. And more idle poses if it wasn't too much to ask? For example your retainers all have a lot of stances they can take but you can get none of them. It would go a long way in setting your character apart and defining your identity.

Edit: I think it was a great idea to ad job unique poses with the victory poses. And I think it would be awesome if we got even more that are unique to each job themselves.

You can use the slap emote as a custom macro as a high-five, or a low-five like me since i am a lala, lol.

Well, it's been months since they last mentioned it, but I am still waiting for the new male Highlander pose they mentioned they're going to make due to the current pose being used by every ala /hildy

Since the highlander is pose seems to be inspired by body building poses then perhaps they could use one of them?

This one (Shwarzenegger) could maybe be used?

Thanks for all the emote suggestions. We have relayed your requests to the dev. team and they certainly appreciate your input. Though we cannot say for certain that any of these will be implemented, we do have exciting news!

We've learned that players will be able to obtain new emotes from this year's Moonfire Faire.

Hmm.... I wonder what kind of emotes will be added?

Keep an eye on the Lodestone for details on the upcoming festivities!

Super Sentai/Power Rangers emotes?

-Also echoing a /facepalm and the /dropdead or /incapacitated emote.

I'm hoping the Briardien thing is earned at the tail end of the Scholasticate quests, ala /hildy.
