Two things jump out at me, the first is a lack of skin tones in the green range. Is green simply not attractive?

The second is the color of the hair and eyes. Players seem to pick either colors which go with the skin or complement it.

I don't know. I might try a green skinned character or retainer. Last time I went with blue skin and green hair. Somehow green works better for hair than skin.

I'm a fan of dark skintones (mine in in the rightmost column). I sometimes joke that I'm one of 5 black characters on the server but honestly that's probably not too far from the truth.

I also think your outfit choice has a lot to do with it. For example, playing a highlander lady I absolutely despise the hempen camise we get with the underboob. I know apparently a lot of people enjoy that sort of thing (combined with their max bust sliders -_-) but I just find the look incredibly trashy.

Its so subjective.

Personally - any character that has been made to look sexual I instantly find ugly. It just seems cheap to tack on big boobs, skimpy clothes, red lips, ect.

I find sophisticated class and a strong personality coming through on a fully clothed character much more attractive. A character that looks strong, confident, and isn't trying to be 'cute' or 'sexy'.

I always love this Highlander face, with tan skintone. It's pretty rare highlander people using this face. And I love kinda "grumpy" face.
I love goatee as well.
