I like skintones that aren't too out there and haircolors that compliment the character's eye color and clothing. Although Au Ra give me the compulsion to match stuff to their scale coloration which can make for some interesting results.

But I'll do character creation nonsense to make a few examples:

I'll have to edit the sliders in later, but as far as why I created him the way I did....

I think what makes him attractive is that he looks like an average guy. He's not a beast or a wiley anime-styled character (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not my style). Some of the Hyur models look very plastic to me and Midlanders are too feminine and soft. They lack facial definition. I like my character to have a jawline and facial hair, which isn't something that Midlanders do particularly well with, so I went with the more broad-featured Highlander. He's got dark features to provide some contrast and make his green eyes brighter. I initially had him with messier hair, but I changed it to something with better style to match some glamours.

At one point I tried out a male Miquo'te for something new, but I went back to this character model.

For me personally? If they're a female Roegadyn they're instantly attractive to me. Something about them is just so alluring to me. Their height, muscles, facial features, unnatural skintones, and of course their massive busts (sorry I'm a woman who loves boobs!) are what pushed me into playing one.

Of course I do love me some highlander women cause they're absolutely gorgeous. Oh and grey moon cat girls with the face that gives them the super cute nose that reminds me of a mithra nose.

I will post later with my creation specs just because that's what the thread called for in the first place anyway.

Given that only three participants have supplied their traits, I think I asked for too much. Perhaps it would just be easier to keep the topic in the tone of ChrisBabaganoosh, Pooky_Bear, and you, in the sense of just having folks post their characters, and express their thoughts about beauty.

I like guy characters that look well kept and average and have fair tones. Some "strength" in the eye and brow areas and downwards eyes look great, as do high cheek bones, a straight nose and a balanced mouth. I like the cheeks and jaw to be average, not too round but not too chiseled either. I don't mean it in the creepy way but Shikiseki pretty much nailed it. :P Aymeric looks good as well.

For girls I like piercing light eyes, fair tones, a straight nose, arched eye brows, upwards eyes, a well shaped mouth (not too wide or thick), lipstick that doesn't clash with the skin/hair/eye/makeup colors, an oval shaped face, average cheeks and jaw, less than maximum muscle and some weight in the bust and hips. I prefer makeup that isn't heavy on both the eyes and mouth, and I prefer the blush not being too dominant. Freckles look great. I like resting faces that don't look angry, soulless (like a doll) or daft.

For my character I went with an icy color theme and all the features I like except arched brows because they weren't available to the face type I chose. The brow shape is less noticeable with light hair colors and some hair styles. I chose the face type mainly because of the eyes which I find to be the most important feature. Sometimes I change my hair style and toggle both tattoos (whitest white) but other features usually stay the same.

Roegadyn female, Seawolf skin tone bottom left or Hellsguard skin tone top left, bust size 100, muscle 25, hairstyle Lightning or 7/8/13/22/29 of the ones available in CC, hair color whitest white, no highlights, face 3, jaw 1, eye shape 3, iris size large, eye color 6th from the bottom 2nd from the left, no odd eyes, eyebrows 3, nose 3, mouth 4, lip colour light / 7th from the top 3rd from the left, no facial features, last face paint for eyes (just before the blush option), face paint color light / blackest black.
