I'm not so sure they will, because the timer won't start running again until 27th, so the alert emails won't get triggered either. They'll unpause the demolition process and it'll realise it's past the 45 days for some people so will instantly demolish those houses. Whether or not it does the email check after the demolition check will depend on if they get emailed as well (although since the email would say "your house is going to be demolish 10 minutes ago" you would hope it wouldn't and would just say about needing to get items...)

As Risvertasashi mentioned, it's in the announcement itself so notices should go out by the 17th:

For those players whose estate will be prepared for auto-demolition within ten days of the scheduled maintenance, an e-mail notification will be delivered to the e-mail address registered to their Square Enix account.

the timer will resume immediately after patch data is made available during the scheduled maintenance

So it's being turned on again as soon as the patch goes live.

Because of this, there is a possibility the auto-demolition timer may expire for certain estates before maintenance has ended.

Within ten days of maintenance is *after* it's happened. So if your house is due to be demolished within the next 10 days (Sept 27th to October 6/7th?) you'll get the standard 10 day warning email (or less warning if there aren't 10 days remaining, but no warning at all if it expires before maintenance starts).

The way I read it it's before, but I suppose it can be taken either way. It doesn't make much sense to send it after the maintenance though. Can't do much about it either way though so we'll just have to see.
